It is my pleasure to welcome you to Broadacres Avenue Elementary and Visual and Performing Arts Magnet. Broadacres is an urban community school located in the south region of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Our school is privileged to have an extremely dedicated faculty, staff and administration that continually provides students with a high quality instructional program that includes a rigorous standards-based curriculum which addresses the needs of all students. As the leader of this school, it is my goal to lead with compassion, humility, and humbleness as I give the scholars my best daily. I am here to serve, learn and grow in our daily quest to educate our scholars to provide top-notch academic experiences and to prepare them to become Ready for the World

I believe in the African proverb "It takes a village to raise a child." It is everyone's responsibility to take part in the educational process. My role as instructional leader is to establish systems of practices to ensure that our students receive what they need to thrive instructionally, culturally, socially, and emotionally.

Broadacres Ave. School and VAPA Magnet maintains high academic standards while providing a nurturing, small community environment. We are pride ourselves on creating a “family-like” atmosphere where students feel safe and comfortable. I believe that genuine collaboration fosters ownership of a rich school culture.
